A Nice Unit
By JLA
This printer was purchased as a replacement for an older HP printer, the Designjet 800. The T790 is faster and has the ePrinter capabilities. There is a noticeable improvement in the printer construction and the control panel interface is much more informative and intuitive. Of course the most important thing, print quality, is second to none. One of the best printers for the money anywhere.

Fantastic print quality!
By Omaha
I've had this for a while now, and continue to be impressed.

The print quality is just remarkable. I can make gorgeous, large format prints for a fraction of what a lab would cost, and I love being able to control everything about the process from end to end.

My only regret is that if I had it to do over, I might have gone ahead and bought and even wider format model.

Piece of Garbage
By Very Frustrated
Waste of money, space, and effort!! It does not like to pull the paper in straight when we load new paper and takes 2 people to finally get the paper to load properly. Constantly says it is out of ink and will not print until we replace the cartridges (note: cartridges is plural!); this is due to the fact that there are date chips in the cartridges. We are very frustrated that we have to pay a fortune to replace cartridges when they are full! The carriage belt shredded itself into fine pieces that went all over the printer and onto our banners. It would have cost us $1,500 to get the belt replaced. We have lost money on this printer instead of making money on it. We are ordering a new Canon printer and sending this one to the junk yard!

HP service center called and worked with me for two weeks replacing parts and uploading software to fix my printer. Thanks Cesar from HP

I'm spending another hour trying to load paper into my HP printer, every day it rejects the paper loaded. The process of reloading takes an hour because the printer continues to reject paper rolls. Sheet loaded media is worse. I can't believe HP would sell a product that doesn't work. My frustration with this printer runs so deep I will never buy another HP product of any kind. HP Designjet Z3200 24" Printer
By John Atchley
I have had the 24" Z3200 (non PS) for almost two years now and have probably printed close to 500' of roll paper on it, including prints for my recent show. Unlike the previous reviewer I have had nothing but great output and a great printing experience. My only regret is that I didn't purchase this printer sooner. It has, literally, revolutionized my printing. I have had to feed some types of paper one or two extra times, but never more than that. The inks seem to last forever compared to my smaller printers, above and beyond their larger size cartridges. Print quality is excellent. I love it, enough so that I am looking to upgrade to the 44" model.I give it 5 stars.
