not as good as I thought at 1st, but has lasted well

A great printer from what I can tell but still have not pushed it to hard in the photo area but expect good things from the little I have done. A breeze to set up had it working wireless with 5 seperate computers in about an hr only 1 was a bit of a puzzle to set up the wireless on (only puter on sys7 needed to download software, disc didn't work for sys7 correctly) but a quick call to Kodak solved that and with no wait on hold time, a pleasant suprise.
Only complaint is that it is quite noisy at computer start-up and 1st print job. But Kodak explained the reasoning behind that and it is that it runs a diagnostic and cartridge check everytime it starts-up and before the 1st print job out of a sleep.
All in all seems to be a great printer. I have a very high end camera and the few photos I have printed have great color and detail. Can't wait to really push it's photo capabilities to the limit will keep you posted.
Well it has been about 6 months and not as satisfied as I was at first. Had to get it replaced once KODAK customer service was great sent new machine out 2day with return shipping paid so was only without it 3 days. Still not a bad printer for the price but it is just to loud at start up and shut down in fact so loud I can't be on the phone near as it start or shuts down to loud. It is also is not the ink saver it claims to be. I Think my old HP all-in-one was just as economical to operate although photo printing was not near as good but it was 10 years old and not a photo printer per say. It also has a bad habit of paper jams if you run it down to the last few sheets. All in all not a 4 star machine as was my 1st impression it is pretty average more like 2.5 star.

Best printer ever.

I have owned HP and Epson before and actually I was getting tired of wasting lots of money in buy separated ink cartridges, lately in my HP I was using black ink only to avoid the waste of the colors yet I don't know but somewhat supposedly after printing with my HP 2 pictures I couldn't believe that I used 25% of ink in all cartridges!!! And that HP had 2 different black inks to buy separately because one is "special" for pictures. After 5 years of use it broke and decided to buy a new printer. At the store I was undecided between HP or Epson but I was so tired of separated inks....however I found that Kodak uses only 2 ink cartridges and flexible to print wirelessly practically from any gadget (PC, Mac, Cell Phone, Pad, Kindle), the setup is EASY if you follow step by step the instructions in the printer guide (telling so because some bad reviews were due to wanting to install the printer impulsively and seems didn't follow the instructions), and for my surprise I already printed 5 all color pictures and only used about 4% of ink. Definitively the best printer I got for now.

ESP 3.2 Kodak Printer 100% Satisfied

We have owned printers since the serial ports. This very reasonable priced Kodak printer is Fantastic, very easy too use and print photos or just regular paper. It is WIFI ready and so easy to set up, owners manuals and software was EZ enough to set up all. No printer is perfect, this screen for operation is a little small for our middle aged eyes, but adequate. On our 1st pic we printed came out so nice i was shocked , we used to own an expensive photo printer and it took several photo pages to get correct colors. Would definitely recommend this unit and from the low cost of the cartridges makes this one a winner! Thanks Kodak for fitting this one in our Budget. We are semi-retired and do not or have not worked for Kodak,just a big Kodak Fan now.

Amazing Prints!

I just made my first prints using the ESP 3.2. The photo prints were more brilliant in color that the image on the screen of my Macbook Pro. Image sharpness was impeccable. The scanner also produced a high quality image file in accurate colors. This is my second ESP printer from Kodak, and I am pleased with the product.

When installing the driver on Mac OS X Mountain Lion, be sure to load the current software from the CD first and then update from the internet. I could not install the software directly from the internet before installing the CD.
