Great for digital negatives

This is a very good film for creating digital negatives. It takes inks well and almost transparent - only about half stop difference in exposure compared to bare paper or step wedge.
I print my negatives on Epson R3000 and use SuperPhoto mode - 5760 dpi printer resolution (instead of recommended 1440). SuperPhoto mode gives me perfect highlights and nice shadows. 1440dpi in my experience proved to be not enough to produce 100% white specular highlights.

My only complaint would be the lack of traditional photo sizes for this film. I have to manually trim every negative to fit my 8"x10" contact frame.

not as good as I thought at 1st, but has lasted well

A great printer from what I can tell but still have not pushed it to hard in the photo area but expect good things from the little I have done. A breeze to set up had it working wireless with 5 seperate computers in about an hr only 1 was a bit of a puzzle to set up the wireless on (only puter on sys7 needed to download software, disc didn't work for sys7 correctly) but a quick call to Kodak solved that and with no wait on hold time, a pleasant suprise.
Only complaint is that it is quite noisy at computer start-up and 1st print job. But Kodak explained the reasoning behind that and it is that it runs a diagnostic and cartridge check everytime it starts-up and before the 1st print job out of a sleep.
All in all seems to be a great printer. I have a very high end camera and the few photos I have printed have great color and detail. Can't wait to really push it's photo capabilities to the limit will keep you posted.
Well it has been about 6 months and not as satisfied as I was at first. Had to get it replaced once KODAK customer service was great sent new machine out 2day with return shipping paid so was only without it 3 days. Still not a bad printer for the price but it is just to loud at start up and shut down in fact so loud I can't be on the phone near as it start or shuts down to loud. It is also is not the ink saver it claims to be. I Think my old HP all-in-one was just as economical to operate although photo printing was not near as good but it was 10 years old and not a photo printer per say. It also has a bad habit of paper jams if you run it down to the last few sheets. All in all not a 4 star machine as was my 1st impression it is pretty average more like 2.5 star.

This printer is light weight and easy to carry. It is inexpensive but gives great photo quality. It is quick and easy to do anywhere anytime. This is one of the best photo printer I have had ever. I love it a lot.

The truth about this printer is right now it's sitting on my desk idle from the time i bought it, which is over a year now. I'm not very please with its features and i'm hoping some day i'll wake up and find some good thing to use it for. I bought it really to print passport photos; yeh right.......i hope they get the right medium and catridges for such an application some day. Not recommended if you need a serious mini photo printer.
