Best value for the money in the industry.

Super-fast, easy to set up for Mac and PC use, and it does duplex! I bought this because I do a lot of freelance writing and knew an inkjet's little cartridges would be ridiculously inefficient compared to a toner cartridge's cost and long-lasting life. I'm on my second of these little workhorses over the last 8 years and would buy one again in a heartbeat. They're just about indestructible and for the price you can't beat what they can do. Don't get those cheap little inkjets with their 50-page capacity cartridges--this is the printer you really wanted.

Work horse

I have this printer at home and it is a powerhouse of a work horse. The base model will need a memory DIMM upgrade if you print large PDF documents, but those are very cheap online (just search Amazon for HP C9121A to upgrade the printer with 128mb memory). Toner cartridges are expensive at the local office supply store, but HP brand cartridges or even remanufactured off-brand cartridges are available online for half the price. Parts have been discontinued by HP but they are available online. So far I've only had to replace a small roller, but that was after years of intense use.
I use this printer for law school and it has been fantastic. It feeds quickly enough to spit out 50 page documents or greater in just a short amount of time. Double-sided printing has ben a big plus.
PS, I did not buy the printer on Amazon, but hopefully this review provides some feedback about what a great powerhouse it is.

Very Pleased

Very pleased with this printer. The outside was clean and in very good condition. So far it is printing great. Have an old one like this and it has lasted a long time. Still using it, but wanted a backup since I print our church bulletin on it each week.
