Perfect Mini Keyboard Plus Kernel Extension for OS X Support

I needed a small keyboard to use on a tray alongside my mouse and preferred one that was durable and mechanical. I wouldn't have minded a Happy Hacking keyboard, but the price was a little out of my range. This keyboard satisfies all these requirements and is extremely well made for its price. Although I only casually game, this keyboard makes a much better gaming companion than the Happy Hacking keyboard. It has a fairly standard layout for a mini keyboard and has all the necessary keys for gaming, including the arrow keys.
I was a little disappointed with the OS X support for this device. A much more elegant solution to using ps2/usb adapters is this kernel extension - iousbhiddriver-descriptor-override found on GitHub . Simply compile in Xcode and install KeyRemap4Macbook alongside it. KeyRemap4Macbook will allow you to use all modifier keys, including "Command+," used typically for opening application preferences.

Great mini keyboard

Wanting to free up more desk space for papers and drinks, I replaced a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 with this little beauty. Covering about one third the area of my old board, the Noppoo does everything I asked of the Ergonomic while giving me back almost a square foot of desk space.
Though it is small, its one and a half pounds and rubber feet lock it solidly to my desktop. It does not budge as I type. Build quality appears good.
The Cherry MX brown keys have just enough aural feedback to remind me typing on a Selectric typewriter. They are not too noisy.
Using the included key puller, I now have a keyboard that I can thoroughly clean.

A Performance Compact Keyboard

This is exactly what I have been looking for and coming up empty at the likes of Fry's and Microelectronics to find: A compact, high durability, high performance, keyboard. It has the key action of gaming keyboards, but fits on my tiny keyboard tray. No software needed to make it work (Wasn't the case with Cooler Master or Razer keyboards). The Function keys work great. Examples, disable/enable the Windows key, mute volume, number lock, swap Ctrl and Cap lock keys, etc. I find the design simple, yet attractive. The only knock I have is that the End key is mislabeled as a second Delete ("Del") key. Highly recommend!
