Micah is a very creative, very intelligent little boy. (And I am not biased in any way.)
I'm not sure if I have mentioned this, but Micah has fallen in love with the Wii that Ben got for Christmas. In fact, Micah plays more than anyone else in our house. Actually with how cold and snowy it has been, it is a lifesaver. Micah is SUPER active while playing it and it helps burn off extra energy.
So Micah spends some time each day playing all sorts of sports. I have noticed when I say it is time to stop for the day he will often make up games he can play without the Wii being on that mimic the games he gets to play on there.
Today was certainly an interesting one. A simple game of basketball with his toddler sized basketball hoop soon became a game he named, "Knockers." He turned the hoop around, and would throw the little basketball as hard as he could at the back of it. If he successfully knocked it over, he would yell, "KNOCKERS!" at the top of his lungs.
It was a cute game to be sure, especially once I had removed Savannah from the danger zone, but knockers? I decided that him walking around telling people that we play a game at home called knockers was not such a good idea. I tried to rename the game, but apparently he decided that nothing had quite the ring to it as knockers did.
So Happy Valentine's Day. Spend time with those you love, and go and play some knockers. Or you know . . . don't.
